This is by far one of the best external hard drive that I have purchased. Setup-up was easy and quick with my Windows XP-laptop. All I had to do was connect the power cord to the hd unit, connect it to my computer, and plug it in. Bam. Turned on my computer and it automatically recognized the drive and I continued with tranferring my files into it. Very easy and user friendly. Tranferring was also very fast. There's also an on/off switch on the back of the hd which is nice.
