So far so good. Easy to set up; just plug in and go. Already formatted for NTFS. I have about 9 Western Digital My Book 500gb external hard drives, and 2 just died within a week of each other. So I just bought 2 of these based on good reviews. Nice and thin. On/Off switch in back. Light on side to show it's on. Removable stand to hold it upright or take it off if you want to stack them, take up less space, etc.
My only complaint: Runs kinda hot. Aluminum casing gets hot if you leave it on even just a little while. So I'll use these strictly for backup files so they don't get too hot. Problem could be solved with more ventilation.
