Got the drive in very quick shipping order... plugged it in.. and its been working flawlessly... one thing however... one of my computers is an older compaq (maxtor drive).. and it would not write to the Iomega when using a long USB extension cable.. (kept getting drive write timeout errors)... I plugged the Iomega direcly into the USB port (didn't use the USB extension cable).. and it worked just fine... I believe it is because the PC is older..and didn't like the long cable (took too long to get HD feedback signals..etc)... but all's working great now... one TB is a lot of space... thanks joegGet more detail about Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive 34275.
