After trying 2 units that are incompatible with Vista 64 (Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1.5 TB and Maxtor OneTouch III Turbo Edition 2TB) I've settled with this small grey box. I've just started transferring my files to it so I cannot say anything about durability or reliability but I can tell you it worked right away upon being connected to my computer (no installation CDs).
