I bought this about a month ago and use it for archiving multimedia files. So far it's worked like a charm with no glitches. Sorry I don't have any technical specs to share but from an "every man" view point, pretty happy with it. I have an IOMEGA 80gb portable that I've been lugging around for 4+ years now.
