I got this drive as a means to back up my Linux box. Unfortunately SuSE 10.3 doesn't write NTFS. Attempts to reformat the drive, both under Linux and Win2k(as FAT32) failed.
Fortunately it's working well as a external drive on my WinXP box, and I'll just have to use drive shares in order to back up to it. Get more detail about Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive 34275.
