i ordered three of these. i take tons of pictures of my daughter and lots of video clips too so i really need something like this to back up my files; they're the most important files i have cuz i want my daughter to enjoy seeing her pictures and video clips of her when she was really young (she's 5 now). i like the fact that it has an on/off switch so you can have it connected to your pc all the time and only turn it on when you wanna use it. your pc will recognize it and pop: it'll recognize a new drive. as easy as using a flash drive. and when you're done, just turn off the power switch. 500 gigs is a lot of space and for the price, it's a very good deal. i'm so glad to see prices for external drives dropping as much as they have. if you have important data that you don't wanna lose, don't be cheap. this external drive is inexpensive and well worth the investment.Get more detail about Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive 34275.
