Have owned this product for 2 weeks now. I have it hooked up to my ibook. I purchased it with the only intent to store all of my MP3s on it. I was worried initially because i read reviews saying it was noisy and the fan was obnoxious. I have not had any of those issues. I do hear a small click like noise when it does kick on to pull from the device but other than i think it sits dormant. I like it.
