
I turned the hard drive on and it started clicking and whirring and didn't do anything. The computer couldn't recognize it at all, even though i was following directions exactly. I got in contact with technical support and all they did was send me a replacement power cord saying that that was the problem. I got the new cord, and it had the same problem. Then I talked to support again and they said they would send me a new product, but i would have to pay the shipping to send it back. Not very good for it coming defective. I don't know if all iomega products are like this, but i didn't bother to find out, so i returned the product and got a different one from another company.
