I don't understand why nobody has mentioned the crazy clicking this drive makes. The iomega support site says it is normal when the drive is writing. I bought one and transferred some data. Click, click, click. Then is started clicking when it wasn't writing. So it went back and I got another. This time, just plugged it in to wait and see. Never put ANY data on it and click, click click. Whether or not the click indicates that the drive is going to fail, I don't understand how that is acceptable. I have 2 WD drives for my Mac and a SimpleTech for the PC and none make noise anywhere close to that. This one is going back too.
