It quit after a few days. Perhaps the machine I received was a lemon. Before it broke I found it very easy to use and would highly recommend it if I knew for sure that this was a unique mechanical problem. When it broke I bought a Western Digital hard drive at Best Buy. I didn't want to wait for shipping from Amazon at that point and I didn't trust Iomega.
