I own the 500 MB version. Installation is very quick. The unit runs warm to the touch after several hours, so I am not sure if this o.k.
The case is attractive with a brushed metal finish.
The plastic holder allows vertical orientation which save desk space.
After several months it is working fine, files write quickly.
The backup software that they offer is not worth considering.
The ON/OFF switch is great. The white indicator light reminds me that it is on as it is so quite that I am not sure if it is ON or OFF. Both of these features are missing on other units that I considered buying.
I would buy this unit again.
