Got this to backup our main computer, where we store all our photos, videos, and data. It literally was plug and play with Windows XP on our older model PC. Then a simple drag and drop to copy the files I wanted backed up. It came with automatic backup software, but I don't need to install that. Once a week, when our scans run, I manually backup the drive, no muss no fuss. I still can't believe there exists a TB drive for this price. I've been in IT for almost 30 years and remember when a 20MB external drive was more space than we'd ever need.
