I know enough about computers to be dangerous. When the hard drive on my P.C. began to show signs of wearing out, I bought the Iomega Prestige 1 TB external hard drive. I used the accompanying EMC backup software to back up my system. Within a week the internal hard drive failed. I installed a new internal hard drive in the P.C. and attempted to retrieve my data. I'm still trying to retrieve my data. The software is so byzantine that I'm getting nowhere. Net report: hardware seems fine. It's still running and that sort of thing.
