I purchased this drive and within a few months it failed. It was then that I learned that Iomega does not support Customer Service Phone Calls. Everything must be done by chat or e-mail. That is normally fine, but Iomega's chat is extremely time consuming. The CS Representatives take 5 minutes or longer to respond to each question. What should take 2 minutes on the phone, ends up being 30 minutes or longer via chat.
In the end I ended up RMA'ing this drive. However Iomega was not done screwing with me yet. A month after the drive was returned, I received an e-mail advising that I still needed to return the defective drive. I am again forced into working with the very poor Iomega Customer Support via Chat and wasting my time. I have had two chat session to date. Although I've provided the documentation including the UPS tracking number, they still want to investigate further and have someone talk to me.
