I have a laptop that was filling up with music and pictures from the whole family. I can't believe the price you can get a 1TB hard drive now, so I went ahead and bought it from Amazon. What's not to like? My PC recognized the device immediately. It was very easy to copy or move items off my pc to the hard drive. I've freed-up a ton of space on the laptop and I have vast amounts of usable space left on the hard drive. I think I'm going to start backing-up my whole system, because there is so much extra space. It's an attractive unit and I have not issues. It would be great if they started making these wireless. Moving our music libraries means you have to have the laptop plugged into the HD in order to access your iTunes library. In a perfect world everything would be wireless!!
